Jewellery Care

To give your much loved eco silver jewellery an extra sparkle we recommend cleaning with a gentle unscented soap and a soft toothbrush. Wearing your handmade silver jewellery often will help to prevent tarnishing.

Your gold vermeil jewellery is plated in a thick layer of 18 carat gold and needs to be carefully looked after. Wearing your piece daily will eventually wear away the gold vermeil, however, I am certainly not one for keeping items for best and I absolutely believe in celebrating everyday! If you take the time and care to follow the prompts below your gold vermeil jewellery will last as long as possible and we can always replate your jewellery when the time comes. For more information on this please do get in touch.

Take the time to store your jewellery carefully to avoid scratching and tangling and ideally in a cool dry place away from direct sun or humid temperature.

Your jewellery should be the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you take off in the evening, taking care to avoid perfumes, lotions and cosmetics.

Do not wear your jewellery when showering, swimming, exercising or cleaning.

I highly recommend Town Talk Silver and Gold polishing cloths to give your jewellery that extra sparkle. Quite often we don't realise that our pieces have dulled slightly over time and these cloths ensure your gold and silver jewellery is always looking it's best. Available to buy for £4.

Caring for your jewellery in this way will ensure it lasts for many years to come.
