I GOT THE WRONG RING SIZE! 

Please note I offer one free ring resizing on all ring orders as I know it is difficult to ensure you've got 100% the right ring size if buying a gift or if the ring you're ordering is a little bit chunkier than your usual rings as this can mean you may need to size up a size or two. Every order is entitled to a free ring sizing no questions asked. All that I ask is that you cover the cost of returning to me (not normally more than a few pounds) and I will then resize and send back out to you free of charge. Just pop me an email to enquire more on this and confirm your new ring size.

WHAT IS GOLD VERMEIL?
Gold vermeil is a thick gold plating on sterling silver. Much more durable than gold plating and using materials of higher quality. Eleanor Jewellery Design uses recycled 18 carat gold for coating handmade eco silver jewellery. For more information please see the 'What is Gold Vermeil?' page

WHY ARE CERTAIN PIECES OF JEWELLERY HALLMARKED?
Any piece of sterling silver jewellery weighing over 7.78g needs to be hallmarked. More information is available here. 

CAN I GET MY JEWELLERY WET?
It is best to avoid showering, swimming or cleaning whilst wearing your jewellery.

HOW LONG WILL DELIVERY TAKE?
Delivery of sterling silver items can be up to 14 days (2 weeks), excluding the Earth Bangle. All gold vermeil items and both silver and gold Earth Bangles can take up to 21 days (3 weeks) for delivery. All items are sent out using a signed for service via Royal Mail.

DO YOU WORK ON COMMISSIONS?
I do not generally work on commissioned pieces. 

IS THE PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?
Your jewellery arrives in a 100% compostable mailing bag. The bag is made from plant based materials and follows strict composting laws, meaning you can compost the bags your self at home if preferred and they will leave no harmful residues behind. The postage boxes are made from recycled materials, are recyclable and the ink used is made from vegetable extracts. Eleanor Jewellery Design tissue paper is FSC certified, meaning that the supply chain is managed responsibly and sustainably, the paper is acid free and uses soy based inks. All jewellery boxes provided are made from recycled materials and are recyclable. The handmade Eleanor Jewellery Design dust pouch provided is cotton and made to be reused again and again.

Even the outer delivery bag is recyclable along with your household waste!
